You Don’t Have to Buy from Expensive Markets to be Healthy

(This is a proof-of-concept post to illustrate the creation of a social media release. It is not an actual release. It is an exercise to illustrate the format and creation of such posts in a WordPress blog.)

You can buy straight from the farmer, without paying the middle man, at the Market at Ag Heritage Park.

The Farmer’s Market at Ag Heritage Park reopens in May, held every Thursday, 3-6 p.m. until August. The market has a variety of vendors and a fun friendly atmosphere for everyone. The 15 vendors range from fruits and vegetables to fresh-cut flowers and goat cheese, so there is something for everybody. It often also features the work of local artisans, educational booths, and musical entertainment.
The market is easily accessible. It’s located at the corner of Lem Morrison and Donahue drives, only about a mile south of the football stadium. Anyone can show up and buy fresh produce straight from the vendor without paying extra to the middle man. The vendors look forward to seeing you in the beautiful outdoors and enjoying the products they have worked so hard to provide for you!

History of the Market

The Market at Ag Heritage Park first opened in 2005. It is hosted by Auburn’s College of Agriculture in partnership with the Alabama Agricultural Experiment Station and the Alabama Cooperative Extension System.
